A cracked supply line at 2am, a water heater that quit on a Sunday, a slab leak that's been climbing your water bill for weeks — whatever brought you here, our Harvard-based crews are already staged and ready to roll.
Behind Street Wise - Plumbing is a crew of journeyman and master plumbers who've worked on everything from century-old cast iron to brand-new PEX systems. We're insured for the job, licensed in IL, and we stand behind every repair with a written warranty.
We've trained our team to diagnose the actual cause, not just patch the symptom. A slow drain in a Harvard kitchen is rarely just the trap — it's often venting, slope, or a buildup problem further down the line, and we check all of it.
Our trucks are stocked before they leave the yard each morning, not after a customer calls — common valves, wax rings, supply lines, and fittings ride along so a Harvard technician isn't making a parts-store run mid-repair.
A surprising number of the emergency calls we take in Harvard started as something small three or four days earlier. Here's what tends to escalate fast.
A burst supply line or an overflowing toilet doesn't care what time it is, and neither do we. Our emergency crews carry shutoff tools, wet-vacs, and common repair parts so most emergency calls in Harvard are resolved in a single visit.
Faucet replacements, garbage disposal swaps, toilet installs, and whole-house re-pipes — our residential division works on the full range of what a Harvard home needs, not just the easy jobs.
Restaurants, offices, and retail spaces in Harvard, IL can't afford extended downtime over a plumbing issue. Our commercial team is equipped for grease trap service, backflow testing, and multi-fixture repairs on a schedule that respects your operating hours.
Slow drains, recurring clogs, and sewer backups get diagnosed with real equipment — camera inspection and hydro-jetting — not guesswork. We'll show you exactly what's happening in the line before recommending a repair.
We repair and install both traditional tank and tankless water heaters, and we'll walk you through sizing so you're not overpaying for capacity you don't need.
Rather than opening walls on a hunch, our technicians run listening equipment across the suspected line first, marking the leak within a foot or two before any cutting begins.
We replace failing shutoff valves and supply lines as part of fixture work rather than reconnecting new fixtures to old, brittle hardware that's likely to fail next.
A live dispatcher takes your call, gets a read on the urgency, and starts routing the nearest available technician.
Because our trucks are staged across Harvard, IL, dispatch can usually give you an honest, specific arrival window.
Before a wrench touches anything, you'll get a written, upfront price for the repair — no surprise line items after the fact.
The repair is completed, the work area is cleaned up, and you're handed a written warranty on both parts and labor.
You approve a flat price before we start — never a rate that climbs once the job's already underway.
Because our trucks are already staged around Harvard, IL, we're rarely the "next week" plumber.
Every technician we send is licensed in IL and covered by full liability insurance — ask to see credentials on arrival.
If a repair we performed fails under normal use within the warranty period, we return and fix it at no charge.
